Amber Mendoza is a Fashion Industry Professional with over 15 years’ experience in Apparel Design and Manufacturing. Amber has served as Director of Technical Design and Product Development for many notable brands such as Guess and Hudson Jeans which has allowed her to gain extensive knowledge in navigating the ever-changing fashion industry.

Amber started LAVA post pandemic with the intention to fill a void in the industry that budding entrepreneurs and start up brands were experiencing. Many start up apparel brands did not have access to guidance, mentorship, and knowledge of the supply chain and how to be successful.

 

With over hundreds of contacts, relationships and knowledge acquired from her corporate career, she has been able to help small startup brands and those wanting to start a clothing brand navigate the domestic and overseas supply chain. She has worked with various start up and established brands to scale their
business, build collections, and has even provided insider tips of how to run and manage a sustainable brand. Amber’s dedication to her clients and passion for mentoring the next generation of designers is her way of filling that void and giving
back to the fashion community.

 

Amber is a dedicated wife, mother of two and dog mom. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is also a huge fitness enthusiast who believes that the true path to success is being able to acquire and attain wealth through having a peaceful mind, healthy body, and positive spirit.
